Welcome to PenGenie. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle and protect your inputs and financial calculations when you interact with our website and browser-based tools.

PenGenie is an independent calculator platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any government agency, tax authority, employer, bank, or financial institution. Our tools provide planning estimates and do not replace official documentation or professional advice.

2. Information Processing & Data Boundaries

We process information according to strict privacy boundaries:

• Local-First Calculator Inputs: The salary, tax, date, loan, savings, or career planning values you enter are processed in your browser wherever possible. The site does not create saved calculation history as part of normal calculator use.
• Supporting Requests: Some site features, such as contact forms, analytics, hosting, or rate-limited endpoints, may make network requests. Do not enter sensitive personal information into a field unless it is required for that feature.
• Usage Measurement: We use aggregate site measurement. Google Analytics is initialized with Consent Mode defaults set to denied, while Plausible is configured for aggregate traffic measurement.

3. Data Security and Calculation Sessions

Calculator inputs normally remain in the active browser session and are not intended to become a saved user profile or calculation history. A calculator may still be accompanied by normal browser, hosting, analytics, or supporting-service requests. We do not use calculator inputs to train models.

4. Advertising and Cookies Policy

PenGenie may use cookies and similar technologies for analytics and advertising:

• Plausible: Aggregate website traffic measurement configured without cross-site advertising profiles.
• Web3Forms: We use Web3Forms to securely handle contact form submissions.
• Cloudflare Pages & Workers: Platform hosting, edge CDN, and serverless compute.
